Hi

I would be grateful for some advice:

I have a replacement charcoal canister for my 88 3.5 EFI, it has 2 connections at the top (for the line to fuel tank and the purge line) but also a larger one at the bottom which has a plastic plug in it. My existing canister also has an outlet at the bottom which is not connected to anything but does not have a plug in place. When I blow in the 2 top connections air passes out of the lower connection. In the Land Rover Workshop manual it does not show or make any mention of a lower connection and I was wondering whether I should leave the plug in place when I fit the canister.

Thanks
