Hi All
After a long wait I'm getting ready to change the belts.
One question, I have seen video of full job with starter motor removed and the same job completed without touching the starter.
Both start up well and run smoothly, if everything is TDC and the timing pins are in, plus the crank shaft pulley marked, is it actually necessary, I hear some garage's wouldn't bother.

What is the general view.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Mick
