replacement radiator hose

hi all. i have to replace the large radiator hose on my 2001 td5 auto. the one with the bleed screw on the top.any one had any problems buying the cheaper pattern ones or should i stick to a original iand rover part. many thanks.

Avoid the pattern ones like the plague!

I bought a ****part one and have had to replace it with genuine, coolant leaked along the fibres in the hose on the cheap one, no clue why but I'd happily advise anyone not to fit one.

Yes but buy an original one don't just buy the cheapest

+1 - buy genuine when it comes to top-hose.
