replacement AP clutch master cylinder

Help !

I have the above part but the aperture for the clutch switch has some sort of blanking plug in it. Has anybody any experience of how to remove it please as I dont want to hack away at it. There doesnt seem to be any variants of this part available so doubt I have the wrong one. FYI mine is a 2004 TD5 Landmark with manual gearbox

That's a blanking plug for the pre-facelift modells which have the clutch switch elswhere on the pipework, simply get rid of that plug as you can without ruining the thread and screw the switch instead
