I got a working tank sender for my disco one cheap, its helped me rule it out its causing white smoke problem but the feed on the left(biggest one) sits to high, meaning i cant refit the inspection plate( tank sender is fitted correct )
Looking at the original sender the same pipe as one mentioned above is loose, not sealed where it meets top of sender and someone has tryed to seal it with silicone, has anyone repaired this? Ive been thinking about using some chemical metal, if i could repair it, means i could refit inspection plate and use boot again lol. Have you repaired it, what did you use?
