repair manuals

I'm hoping to try and replace my brake pads and need a manual, I found this one

Land Rover Freelander 2 (LR2) repair manual 2006-2010

just wondering before i paid for it if anyone has used it and how good it was, alternatively are there any better resources to help me through this?

i downloaded that one but found it hard to get around, it's about 3000 pages and no index that i could find, the only brake info i could find after scrolling was just what should be done with servicing, not how to do it.

is there a step by step in there somewhere?

I think Haines do a manual now

Mines a petrol but can only find the diesel one
I guess the brakes section will be the same though

Not many petrol FL2's. I guess the method will be the same even if the parts are different.
