I have to remove Land Rover transfers from the body work... just thin ones. Any ideas on the best way to remove them prior to painting? I have new ones to replace them. Cheers:mil52:

Use a heat gun, not to hot and they should come off in one go if your lucky !

Use a heat gun (carefully) or you old lady's hair dryer and warm them up.
Get under one edge with a knife blade and they should slowly peel off.
Don't rush it and you will get most of the adhesive off as well.
Wipe over whats left with some methylated spirits and Bob Sherunkle.

hi on the wagons we use brake cleaner if that fails use a hairdryer on a warm setting (not too hot)and that will help and they should peel off nicely

Spot on!
Use a hairdryer. Unless you are really very careful with a heatgun you will risk scorching the paint.

I pour hot water from the kettle on them first and then slowly dribble hot water on the sticker as I peel it off.
