Removing key blade from fob

Hi guys,

I have a new land rover key blade to fit into a two-button fob, and despite levering and swearing I cannot remove the old blade from the fob.

Any tips as to how to do this?

is there not a small pin that you have to take out first?

Annoyingly, the blade, and the pin (broken) came out, rather than the whole thing coming out as an assembly like I wanted. Unfortunately, the remainder of the 'stub' won't appear to come out for love nor money..
