Removing carpets?

I did my first pay n play day at the weekend and did my first bit of wading and now my carpets are wet
So Im going to rip them out along with the insulation but what has everyone done as I dont really want just bare floors, I did want to use truck load bed paint but its stupidy expensive.
Although its mainly a weekend toy I do still want a bit of comfort

unfortunately u cant have it all.mines just bare floors with discovery rubber matts on nice n easy to wash out

Im thinking maybe just thick carpet mats for normal use then take them out for off roading.

Rubber mats all the way - stable matting is good and cheap

If you must have insualtion - closed cell foam camping mat works, but don't stick it down as waaterr still traps along the edges
