Hi Guys...I've got a couple of Dash lights that are not lighting up:
1) The right hand side Temperature control
2) The lights under the Air Con Panel just over the pull out drinks holder tray

Any ideas how to get the front panel off to replace the bulbs? There's a youtube video where a guy claims the panel can be removed by pushing a small flat head screwdriver into each side of the Air Con panel and releasing 2 clips. I've tried it and can't seem to unclip anything?

Thanks Guys.
Tom

Graham...that's great...exactly my problem! Obviously there's a "knack" to getting the 2 blades in and releasing the holding clips but I'll give it a go on the weekend.
Thanks...Tom

Tis a bit fiddly but use 2 thin knives and believe it or not you will feel the knives push the clip away from the side. Then gently lever it out. There are 3 sockets at the back and they are all different sizes so you won't put the wrong plug in the wrong socket. You'll also save a fortune. Land Rover wanted £78 + vat to do it.

Oh you may find the clock bulb will go too.(video of that on youtube also) Similar thing to remove that too except clips are on top and bottom. Replacement bulb from Halfords is £2 cheaper the a genuine Landy part.

As Grahame says it is a bit fiddly. If you look at the video at 36 seconds you can see the metal clips on the side of the unit and how they move. To release the unit you need to squeeze the clip in towards the air con unit. There is a small lip on the front of the clip which helps. You don't need force.

Graham...actually do you have the part numbers for both the dash lights and also the clock....its not lighting up either.
Thanks...Tom
