Hi guy's just bought a 1987 classic vogue SE, and i want to take off the front valance, how hard is it, i thought if i did it with care i could try and sell it? what do you think guy's.

Depends how rusty the bolts are. I'm going to attempt to make mine removable by attaching it with Carr-Lane detent pins, but I've got to get the bugger orf first without destroying it...

mine was a peice of ****,expect for the last bolt.Couldnt move it for love nor money and after three hours I lost me rag and kicked it off. That still took half an hour!I can still mount t if i use a cable tie tho

Pretty easy to remove actually....6 x 10 mm bolts and nuts.....3 on each sides......1 at the very edge of the valence just at front of tyres (steer you tyres inwards to gain better access)....another at one of the driving mounting plate, the inner one.....and last one is the reg plate mounting bolts...

plenty of wd40 makes it easier...

A mate of mine bought an old classic for a days outing to tom's farm in wales. After about 30 mins there was no sign of any valance to be seen, gotta be the best and most fun way to do the job!!
