Hi guys, I'm taking out the centre consul from my TD5 Disco. Everything is undone apart from the gearstick which is an auto and I can't figure out how to take it off. My manual one before just used to unscrew off but this doesn't seem to. It's dark now and I'll give it another try in the daylight but any suggestions?

Cheers

Al

i seem to remember reading on here that you select neutral and jank upward fimly.
to put it back requires it locating and a good thump.
if i am wrong sure someone will tell me.

According to Rave the selector lever is on a plate which is attached to the transmission by 3 bolts - 1 at the front and 2 at the back .
When these are removed you can then lift off the selector / plate .
