I have just brought a remote replacement buttons and battery from island 4x4 it was £6 i think also comes with new back cover. Can someone tell me is it straight forward to just change the button and battery or as tipicall with range rover do i have to make sure you dont do this or do that.

Just ease the button cover out with a suitable implement, I used a scalpel! Back cover can be difficult see the other thread about ways to remove it if the slot is knackered.

Have to defend the women here, mine arrived from 4x4, I looked at it and put it down to go the loo.
When I got back the wife had done it.
I should say though, it was for the spare key that came with the car and putting the batteries and buton cover in did nothing, it still does not work...
perhaps I should check what she did...
