evening all,

being a sad bastard i've just come in from fannying on with me landys, now its bloody freezing up here (aye, i really am that sad that i was out side in the freezing cold fannying on with me landys) and i realised i had no anti-freeze in the rad of the 2a i was working on. i had a quick look under the rad cap and there was no sign of ice, popped the rad cap back on and had a look under the rad for the drain plug, i then reopened the rad cap and what was liquid no more than 30seconds ago was now ice!!

i've drained out all the water now seeing as i have no anti-freeze, but jebus i never thought it could freeze up so fast!! werent cold enough for me cider to freeze up mind!

hope yer have all got some anti-freeze in yer rad!! :D
now how sad is that!! ;)

Take the lower hose of the rad, let it drain out, pull the coil lead off or the diesel stop solenoid wire and turn the engine over for a few secs, done.
I have a willys replica jeep, which has a ford pinto motor, last year it froze totally solid the starter wouldnt even turn it over, but after it thawed its fine and still drives ok, wouldnt want to risk it again tho.
