Regular 'click' from drivetrain

Noticed recently that on acceleration there is a regular, constant clicking..increases in time with speed..if i lift off slightly it disappears but as soon as i increase speed again it starts.

Prop seems fine, no loss in performance...just annoying clicking...like i had as a kid when i put a bit of cardboard on the forks of my bike and it hit the spokes of the wheel

Any ideas?

CV joint. Have you ever considered that what you have spent in repairs, coulda bought you a decent landy?

Dont sound like its coming from the wheel area though...more central.

you haven't left the wheel brace on the wheel by any chance?

now is it a 'click' or a 'tick'?

A tick could be coming from the engine - does the noise change relative to engine speed or road speed?

Engine speed..as said, if i coast, the sound isn't as loud..as soon as i increase engine speed its very noticeable...

tick click its all the same to a deaf old git like me...

try ear protecters then take it for a drive just to make sure it's not your brain working harder to cope with the speed???
