theres a pay & play site at kirton in lindsey nr gainsborough (google KORC),theres a p&p day on the 27th(mon)you get people and groups from all over attend and would be a great chance for you to meet people and do some offroading with help and knowlegde on hand

There are several lanes arround retford and most of them are signed as Byways, Just have a drive round some of the surrounding areas like Hayton, etc and you may well find a few.

Half planning on doing a laning route around that way on Friday or Saturday if you're free? Got one that's all been checked out, one lanes been re-classified (can't remember which but I know the signs been changed) just don't really wanna go it alone, even though they're all pretty tame iirc.
yeah sounds good. am only on standard tyres and no winch at moment. so cant do anything to taxing.

Last time I did it was summer but from what I can remember they're mostly pretty flat, have you got a cb? I've got one somewhere you can borrow for the day (if I can find it) but the aeriel's on a mag-mount, which might be a problem...

Ok mate, erm, should be able to do tomorow afternoon (this afternoon actually) I work nights so won't be able to do the morning. I'll have a quick look for that cb, may be interested in selling it even.
I'll text you about lunchtime and sort it from there, I've lost my o.s. Map but have this route on my phone so should still be ok, it's about 70miles so make sure you've got enough fuel and we'll probably need at least 2 and a half hours.
