Is it safe to put redex unleaded fuel system cleaner through my car? It has an lpg conversion.

Cheers

Chris

Yes, but pointless!
If performance has dropped off enough on petrol for you to think it worth a shot, probably needs new squirters, and a bit of solvent through them wont do much.
If they dont need replacing, then for the effect the stuff has, again not a great benefit to using it!
But I' a sceptic!
Seriousely, Gas cars do suffer from the injectors not getting enough fuel through them to keep them at thier best, but TBH, if they are that bad, they are probably beyond help from an injector rejuvinator.
Follow the advice about warming the car properly on petrol before switching to gas, rather than letting the thing auto-switch as soon as you press the loud pedal; that should be enough to keep the injectors clear, but a good 'run' on FPF now and again, is always worth while, and fun, actually.
and that would be my starting point, a good 20minute run at highway speeds on FPF to get some petrol through the things; you'd have to do that if you stuck Redex in the tank anyway, so up to you if you do, really!

doesn't the redex sortof go off quickly aswell so if you don't use it up itll spoil in the tank? I had a jerry can of petrol with redex in and forgot about it, left it about three months, next to a can without redex in, the one without it in was fine, but the one with redex in had gone off, stank, didnt smell like petrol, was very strange colour, and the car didnt like it at all, so it ended up in the lawnmower, even that wouldn't run on it, so it went on a load of weeds I needed to clear, and even then it was reluctant to burn, duno what had happened to it, I can only assume the redex had gone off, so from now on I'd use up the redex mix asap to avoid unecessary waste of petrol

I use it on my diesel especially before MOT time, true it's not going to refurbish injectors like new, it is more preventative maintenance to keep them in good condition in the first place.

Hehe. used redex years ago in a renault engine. Damn thing was like a smoke machine for about 3 miles. Did the whole job. Dosed the fuel and the cylinders. Didnt make a difference though.
Most modern fuels you buy now have an additive in them very similar to redex anyway.
