Dad's birthday coming up and thought I'd get Him something usefull so am goingto get something for the Landy, was thinking some sort of Recovery gear?

I'm new to this so haven't got much of an Idea. We've got a Steering guard with Towing eyes and have got a Shackle on each eye. I was thinking of a Strop between the shackles and then a Tow rope?

What do you guys think, specific links would be great!

Thinking of going for this, It comes supplied with shackle but are they strong enough? Is It worth paying a bit extra and getting them to replace the Shackles with larger ones?

shakles are cheap enough off ebay, and them ones are tested

So that Bridle, Shackles and one of those Procomp recovery straps should fit the bill?
Is It worth buying Jate rings or should I just attach It to the Steering guard?

19mm Tested Bow Shackle

These are the Shackles Included, It says they're rated to 3.25 tonnes whhen lifting. does this mean they're rated to 7 times that or does that just apply to lifting ropes?
