Just registered with this forum. I have a defender 90 partially rebuilt that's been sat in my garage for nearly 10 years, part done.I really need to get it finished, before its too late!!
Its a 1987, but really all the parts are 2006 to 2009. Chassis is done, engine and box in (4.2 Lse, with modified auto box) axels from 2006, brakes etc all on. the bulk head is on and i have all the other panels, all new from various crashed, breaking, ebay listings over the years, so basically all the parts, all nearly new. I just need it putting together and wiring up with the 2006, far easten, right hand drive, none ecu, loom i have. Oh and i'm also fitting a super charger, Sprintex (ex Dennis Priddle kit of the LSE) so need that wiring in.
My family / work life means i have no time to do this and if i don't get someone else to finish it, it will be there another 10 years!
Can anyone recormmend a Landy specalist they have had experience with who would take this on? Dont mention Frogs island, tried them before on my other 90 and they ripped me off and made a shocking job of some wiring.
Dont mind trailering it anywhere for the right garage. Some who knows defenders, V8's auto boxes and wiring.
And last question, its been a while since i've had any experinec with defender soft tops. I had a 1985 one once with a very agricultral soft top. I want to make this build a soft top, any recormendatios of the best one to go for, ease of taking on and off etc?
