I've just had my black top injectors tested today and the news isn't good. All 5 are showing inadequate pressure and need replacing. The specialist local to me says that the nozzles are no longer available and my only option is to get replacement injectors.
Does anyone know of anywhere else in the country that they have dealt with that could possibly recon my injectors

Just got another set of tested injectors from a company called Diesel Technique in the midlands £90 each service ex.

Im toying with the idea of swapping the solinoids over from my injectors to the replacements so I don't have to reprogram them to the ECU.

Has anyone done this before ?

Ive spoken to the Flavels that tested my injectors and they couldn't say 100% weather it would work or not. I've spoken to DT who supplied my replacements and they have never been asked the question before but also said the ecu should program itself ?

It will run without the injector codes programming in but it runs better with the ecu correctly set to the injector and to do this you need access to a comparable diagnostic reader as the ecu won't programme itself

What's your thoughts on swapping the solenoids over.

never heard of it done before so can't comment on it,but it must be easier to just programme the new codes into the ecu

It is much easier to program new codes in I have 2 sets of injectors and whenever I have a problem I use a local garages snap on diagnostic tool to do it.
