I have a 4.0L V8 in Dubai.

Thinking of doing something interesting with it, I fancy some serious BHP and big brakes first.

What engines are relatively simple to slot in?

Depends what your definition of simple is,

The best common sense solution.
So recommending a Veyron engine probably wouldn't be a simple solution.

I had the idea that perhaps the Supercharged engine from the Range Rover might be an option, but then I don't really know.
I've heard of people putting Corvette engines in.

Forget rover v8 they are £££ to make liads of power, you need a small block chevy either 350 or 383. Guy on here called griffman does stuff like that.

You could look into the Toyota 2JZ. Ive seen those transplanted into Hiluxs before, may well fit a fender.

Ooodles of power with a single turbo conversion could potentially get 600bhp.

True but first thing he wanted was massive bhp. 2JZ engines are relatively cheap and easy to come by out there (from what im told)

Just mentioning another potential engine :)

Not necessarily massive bhp, but some more would be nice, the V8 is a bit sluggish with those big wheels on.

Obviously its not going to end there though, if I put loads more torques in place then I'll probably have to beef up the drivetrain so I don't snap everything when I hit the gas.

Its entirely likely I'm going to have to hand it over to a garage with a wad of notes and expect to collect it all done, I genuinely don't have the time to bugger about with engines and drivetrains unless its a very simple swap over.

just sling a large yanky lump with matching gearbox etc in..but still alot of time to do..(mating gearbox to transferbox)
