Recommend a diagnostic tool

Hi all.
I have a beautiful freelander 2 however it has just sprung up some faults. I am looking to buy a good scanner but not spend the budget if a small country.
Can anyone recommend an OBD2 scanner that will read codes reset and delete.
I need to diagnose the airbag system and heated seats.
Also i constantly have the battery light lit up but its charging perfectly. Anyone have any ideas about this

OBD2 only relates to ECM codes, so any OBD2 reader will read engine error codes.

If you want to read other vehicle modules (there are about 30 in the FL2), then you'll need a full systems diagnostic reader.
Icarsoft make a few, some will read all codes and clear them, and at least one allows you to do calibrations.
Autel is another, Delphi is another, or you can get a cloned version of JLR SDD with a Mongoose connector which allows you to do anything that LR dealers can.

Thank you very much. I am a novice as you can tell, but i do want to do as much as possible on this vehicle as i can
