I bent it several times until got it right, its well away from the dash and my unfinished dash comes back a few inches. The length is ok, great for resting arm on and gives an easy silky change rather than the chunky disco change. I have experimented with different dash designs and this one is nearly there.
l intend to convert the box to defender spec, l have the top off my original box and just need the conversion bits, gear lever will be same but other way around. : )

Not a bad idea. I don't think it'd help with mine unless it's possible to convert it to side to side like a puma but I bet it's a completely diffirent box for them.
Need to put a seat and chubby box in and see where ya hand sits like and position to that. Everything had been a bit of a mare today all jobs that's dead easy with two people but finger trapping sweary jobs without haha

Definitely worth it for me, I think they look great. Gives an updated feel without being OTT. Do you think they would neatly fettle in to a ali wing?

easier on ally but you will have to have both blank wings has the traditional vent is too deep to be covered by the disco vent

Looks awesome can't wait to see it finished so I can steal some more ideas... :p if I remember right was it you who moved your air filter to the bulkhead? If so how did you attach it I'm thinking of doing the same :)

only air filter I've moved was when i built my lightweight and utilised the tool box on the nearside inner wing :D:D

Few pictures slowly slowly catchy monkey last picture now that's a run Biafra falls
