Rear Wiperblade replacement problems

Hi

Bought a nice new rear wiper blade (Bosch) for my freelander 2002, I've come to take the old one off and put the new one on and it doesnt fit. I got it from Halfords and it is the right one (13") but it looks like the fitting is different...is there a way to use the old fitting or do I have to use land rover ones?

1) take it back
2) pay the fitting fee
3) its their responsibility then

Are you sure it is the right one
i have just changed mine and it is a definite shape not at all like the front ones i got a genuine land rover one on flea-bay for under £4 less the p&p

worth a look

i bought a cheap tesco own brand one and bent it to the contours of the original. Works fine.

Were you suppose to use one of the plastic adaptor pieces that usually come with Halfords replacements?

It wasnt Halfords own make, I looked in the little plastic book thing which lists all the cars and wiperblades and I picked the bosch 13 (13") but it just didnt fit and there was nothing else in the box. Got it sorted now tho.....just bought one off flea-buy for about 4 quid.

i just went and got the inner strip. strip your old rubber off and put the shiny new one on.five mins of a job. all motor factors sell them. i paid £2.17.
