rear wiper removal

well after a lovely day out and about in the range i treated her to a wash and the rear wiper has deciceded that it doesnt want to stay up in place or wipe it just hangs in the middle of the screen how do i remove it so i can replace with a new arm :eek:
 
If you mean it keeps swiping while your trying to change it, turn the engine off while its in mid stroke, then it will just stay there, its not got the auto repark like the front ones

tried that when i changed the blade the other day and it kept going back up to top :confused:
 
You need to open the tailgate when it's in the mid position which will stop it, if you turn the engine off it will finish it's sweep. you have to be nimble on your feet to catch it but it does work.
