rear wiper motor problem

hi all

i have had a problem with my rear wiper motor for a while now. for some reason it just stop working. in a resent post i was asked if it was getting realy hot but back then it was only getting warm. today i open the rear door and the wind blew the door shut on my arm. i now have a huge burn blister on my arm because the motor was that hot. has anybody had this problem with there motor?... if so how did you fix the problem?

Sounds like it's seized up. Have you had it to bits and made sure it's all moving freely?

well if i get a drip on the spindle i can spin it so its not that seased up. but thats just me hoping for an easyer fix. ill take it apart an have a look inside

I think you have tried your best.....For around £60 I would replace it. You will sleep alot better due to lack of pain from burns and the worry of fire. Sometimes its worth the money.

true true. the burn only looked small when it happened till had a stretch the next day an noticed the whole back of my arm has a giant bubble on it.
