Rear wiper on my TD5 wasn't working when I bought it and I have removed it today after checking that power was getting to it when the wiper switch was on, that's ok. What I found was apart from it being totally gummed up from water ingress one of the wires to the brushes had snapped off what looks like a capacitor set into the plastic housing which holds the brushes, I've tried to resolder it but not successful.
Brush assemblies seem to be available for front wiper motors but I can't see anything for the rear wiper motor.
Having looked at a number of threads on this site I think others have been unsuccessful in finding them to but I wonder does anybody know if they can be bought and where to get them?
