Rear windows Help

Please help the rear windows will not drop down also the heated window dont work and the wiper.

When i press the rear windows switch in the car i get a buzzzing sound .

The window will not drop when i presss the Key fob or with the key in the rear door handel

I have taken off the battery as it was suggested it might help and checked all the fuses.

i have a 1999 3 door freelander.

Any help and suggestion would be great .

the wiper and glass curcuits are connected, but the heated part is on seperate curcuit, so poss 2 different faults,

does the taildoor glass drop an inch still when opening the door?

there can be a few faults that cause this
seen a few wiper motors fail (this in turn prevents window operation because glass does not know where wiper is parked)

relay can fail, these are located behind o/s/r trim

The glass does not drop at all.

if its buzzing when you try and use it, where is the buzzing coming from?...I'd go for the relay 1st...good luck...

More a warning bleep .Just when i press the switch in the car to lower the rear window.

If you have been looking through list lately you would have seen the thread on micro switch behind C post trim, this tells CCU the roof is on.
