rear window again - new question

i have a new to me 99 soft back. as with all new toys youve just got to play so i took off the roof and had a great day driving around in the sun with the kids. how ever after remounting the softback i cannot get the rear window to raise. i read in the manual that the vehicle knows when the roof is taken off but do i have to tell it when i put it back on or have i forgotten to connect something.
please help as it is getting cold

think this is to do with how the corner posts clip into the body work by the tail gate, and there's a microswitch which has to be engaged.

thats what i thought but i cant seem to get it to work. getting despirate cos its raining HELP

found it. there is a small micro switch mounted on the drivers side roof support which was not quite activated by the roof stay. pushed it in and up comes the window.

i hope any other problems i get are as easy to fix. great forum by the way
