Rear suspension

Hi all
Could someone please help with my rear air suspension. when i press the rear lift button it bleeps and flashes on the dash but doesn't lift. Am i doing something wrong if not how do i fix the problem.

for the compressor to work the BCU must see all doors closed too so if one door switch is fubar the result fo the SLS is like when that door is open even if it's closed. Can you hear the compressor running ?

Hi
No sound from the compressor. the air bags are full of air at normal ride height but when i press the rise button the symbol on the dash flashes a bleeping sound can be heard but nothing happens.

Means that the management works but the signal doesnt reach the compressor or if it does the compressor is fubar, check the relay first

R5 under bonnet, remove it and bridge the perpendicular cavities in the fusebox, the compressor should kick in then if it's OK... do that just for few seconds for test not more cos the air valves are closed

Thanks will try that. i expect this subject has come up many times before. but wondered if its worth going for a 2'' full spring kit as i dont do any extreme off roading . i will have look around the site .
