I found this web page which may provide a clue: myfreelander.co.uk scroll down there is a mention about rear springs and their respective lengths
I used Rimmers listing and looked around other suppliers. RKB500160 appears to be about 100g heavier than RKB500190 according to LRD's web listing, so it [RKB500160] could be the longer OR use thicker metal.

Get the same colour springs that you have fitted already. Give the springs a good clean and you should see the colour painted identification.;)

I'm curious as to why you need springs? Normally the shocks fail long before the springs do.

The late 2005 Sport FL1 had longer springs than the earlier Sport models. These longer springs gave the later Sport the same ride hight as the standard FL1. This was done to increase the load carrying capacity of the FL1.

Cheers for that, first registered in February 2005 so short springs as its lower than a normal fl1.

So what now, spoken to Rimmer Bros and the spring for my model is ORANGE/ ORANGE, part is now obsolete

Find a supplier with old stock or find a second hand replacement. There's a number on here who is breaking an 04 sport, which will have the springs you need.
