rear side lights not working

Hi, I have a 1985 90 and the rear side lights and number plate light arent working.The brake lights and the front side lights,dip and main beam all work.I have checked the fuses and the light switch so if anyone has any ideas please help!!!!

or chafed cable - check with multimeter or spare bulb.

Clean bulbs and bulb holders, also check the bullet connections behind the lights. (metal cover inside tub. )

i agree with above also if you dont have power to them check the fuse holders that they are holding the fuse tight and are clean

And check that you are checking the correct fuse...... It wouldn't be the first time

Cheers lads got them working,I ended up following the wiring down the chassi leg and along the rear cross member and noticed that someone had put connecters in the middle of the wiring and they where clean rottin so I cut the wires and rejoined them so everything workin 100%.
