Rear seat belt buckle

An easy question - hopefully an easy answer.....

How do I remove the seat belt buckle from the hole in the middle of the rear double seat?

The plastic surround was broken when we bought the car, and I want to get everything (almost) as good as new!

Roll the seat forward and get to it from the side.

Are you talking about the buckle in the centre of the double seat? The lap belt also secures at this point.

There didn't seem to be an easy way of removing the plastic surround to access the securing bolt.
