Hi there, I have just bought my very first Land Rover. A 2008 Discovery 3. I had a fixed toe bar fitted. Now rear parking sensors make a continuous beep. can disable the parking sensors from the dashboard . just wondered if there was a way to still have the use of a couple of the sensors?

You need to get a garage who can plug in to your car to re set the system and re programme it.
This will stop your sensors being activated whilst you are towing a trailer.
This will also show up on your dashboard when you are connected to a trailer as your trailer lights
are an extra thing the car needs to recognise.
Main L.R. garages charge a lot even though it is a simple operation & does not take long.
When I had mine done by a normal garage but they had the L.R. computer I waited for it. 20 minuets.
Ask around first at normal garages to see if they can re programme.
