rear o/s panel

has anyone changed the rear panel with the side window as mine took a hit last weekend but not to badly damaged but would like to change it as soon as the insurance right it off also got to change both o/s wheels just need to know how big a job it is. thanks it a 300 tdi

The panel is bolted on, and it the panel with the rear lights on is spot welded to it, so its easier to replace both.
But...it is held on with lots of sticky stuff as well as the bolts..you need a wall paper scraper to break the seal....
straight forward job, but takes time..and its easier if you remove the tailgate and the rear bumper
