Evening all,

Yesterday I was looking to sort my temperamental number plate light out. Anyway, when I unscrewed the lamp one of the spire nuts disintegrated and the other isn't much better…

So, my question is; has anyone replaced them?

I had a look on the bay, but couldn't see any the correct size…

I ended up using a couple that my dad had as they fitted on the plastic handle better than the ones I bought which were too long and so the holes didn't line up. Afraid I can't remember which screw size fitted best as it was a fair while ago now…

Does anyone know where I can get one of the 501 bulb holders from that twist into the light assembly board? Mine only had the one when I checked!

Did you find out which size it was?
I replaced both of mine and got them from my local independent 4x4 land rover dealer, I did have the part number which I got from Land Rover but lost it. The spire clips are the same as what is used on the Disco Number plate light only 90p each sorry cant be any more help than that

Thanks for the replies, will go see what I can find :)

Didn't realise you get the correct spire from LR separately…

You can't for the Freelancer as you have to buy the whole light fitting but as I said the clips are the same as the disco which you can buy separately (don't figure) and that is what Landrover told me
