Rear ended!

Had a slight mishap this morning. It did test the integrity of my 25 year old tratter. Turns out it is not too bad, when compared to a, relatively, modern car (well, Citroen).
Landy bumper about half an inch pushed in on the left, moved same out on the right. Exhaust snapped at centre box. Tow bar needs further investigation

Check your chassis rails are straight, along with anything immediately attached

All good mate. I have a friend that owns a 4x4 garage and put her up on the lift. All looks straight, just cosmetic damage.

The plastic trim and lights survived, so I don't expect that hit was hard enough to have bothered the chassis. I bet its the rear bumper that's buckled and that's all..... once, mine took a massive hit from a Nissan pathfinder that obliterated the rear bumper, but the replacement mounted right into place with no gaps at all.

Yes, the picture was taken after we puled into a chevroned area. I was thinking could be the towing eye? Or maybe the hole to the side of the number plate. My back bumper is much higher than the radiator grill of the Citroen. I think she tried to steer left as she hit. I heard from the other driver that the Citroen is likely to a write off. She is paying for my repairs out of pocket. She was very shaken up. I felt bad for her.

I fail to see how that can happen, but I believe the police would see it as undue care.

It seem common in the USA as people seem to drive into buildings and other things by pressing the wrong pedal. How difficult is it to press the wrong pedal ffs, when there's only 2 to chose from?

Ask the old crumblies living in Ferndown. Wifey witnessed one driving off the upper floor of the car park into a flower bed below. Same excuse!
Problem is so many drive automatix. which instead of stalling just carry on going in all sorts of circs!
