Hi ok this is my second question of the day - the rear window on the driver side is not working at all - it is non-responsive.

I have replaced the workings on other windows but was wondering if this is maybe on its own fuse or something. What seems odd is when I fixed windows before they would sort of work or you could hear the cables had broken.

any help would be fantastic :)

It could be the window cable has wound up around the motor drive. Hopefully the motor is ok, but cheap enough if not.

I've got one on my recently acquired 1.8 which is the same. It went down then stopped half way. I pulled it back up, but the motor isn't making a noise now.

So I'm expecting to need the cable for mine.

thank you - I think I will just buy the part with the motor and see if that fixes it - my driver's window is playing up but ordered the part for that today - goes down OK goes up slow - which is never a good sign :)
