Rear Drive Thud?

Hi All, I have been getting an annoying thud sound from the rear drivers side Wheel area specifically when moving off in a low gear and turning left, also when on loose earth or chipings etc, any ideas anyone. The car drives normally in all other gears and doesn't seem suffer in higher gears when turning at speed. 2002 TD4 manual GS. Cheers GKC.

cracked chassis?
diff mounts?

Sorry its taken so long to get back to u all, Thanx for the advice it turned out to be a cracked central Diff Mount.
