first one and now the other, cant get either of the back doors to open!
can anyone help?

Is the problem that they won't unlock or they won't open?

If they unlock but won't open I presume you've tried from both inside and outside the vehicle i.e. no kiddie locks on? If not the kiddie locks, is there any resistance when you pull the lever on the inside of the vehicle? If not then the linkage has come adrift but I can't see this happening on both doors at the same time?

one wont unlock and the other will but wont open, tried both inside and out, cant see how to get the inside panel off to look though, it obviously comes off a certain way, dont want to force it though.

mad hat man,
i have looked at some pages yes, all i could seem to find though on doors related to the tailgate

Just wondering if you got to the bottom of why your doors wont open.?

Seems one of my rear doors will not open, it makes all the sounds and all the movements when fob is pressed, but the damn thing just wont budge.?
Any idea's

no not yet, real pain in the arse:mad:
nearly at the point of ripping the internal panel off or just getting a new car

Its simple.............get a three door, no rear doors to worry about.

Seriously, have you seen this:

I have my passenger dr lock to change (3dr), its stopped unlocking in the dry weather. Blasted wd40 into the lock area, didnt do much. It unlocks with the interior handle, but not with fob or internal door lock switch. So the solenoid for locking works but not the unlock solenoid.

The SPAL connectors look good and decent price, thanks to disco fever
