Rear door wont open

Hi all , My osr door wont open from inside or out, the central locking is working is working, as the button is going up/down , I bought the car like this, anyone experience of this any idea of the problem and how to sort it ? thanks all in anticipation of a answer without attacking the door with a tin opener

mine is the same reach round with front door open and pull up the plunger as far as you can and it will should open

sounds like the small spring ,cheap part but not easy to fit

I did mine recently, bought the parts from ebay. File a V-shaped groove in an old flat blade screwdriver to push the spring in place, saves hours of struggle!
