Rear door window repair kit

Hi, ive got a problem with my rear window. Stripped the panel and taken the mechanism out to find the cable had broken.
I have read the advice about how to do a repair using bike brake cable, but as I am naturally lazy has anyone tried the repair kits that are forsale on ebay at 20.00. The £100 landrover want is rediculous!

they are ok and as ya say a damn site cheaper than the stealers

Thanks for that, presumably they provide just the right amount of cable? Was it easy to fit?

£100 sounds ok,only compared to the €350+fat I handed over to the local stealer.I did try to fix it myself with stainless cable,which was about 2.2mm and I wanted 1.something,I wish I'd just got the zinc coated right diameter chord.Live and learn.
