Hello All,

the rear door on the driver side doesn't close properly anymore. I had a look into the b-pillar and it looks as if the checker assembly part or whatever it is in the pillar is broken. I was wondering if I could just change, but can't find the parts number for it. The checker assembly in the door seems to be Каталог запасных частей Landrover (lrparts.ru) alr8155 or equivalent, but it doesn't look if the counterpart would be part of it. I pulled the pin and would I just be pulling it out afterwards? Maybe welding it or does anyone has a parts number?

Hello, Thanks. Might try to find one , but does it come with the bracket for the pillar?

No. The B pillar bracket is part of the vehicle body, and will require welding back into place, which isn't easy, unfortunately.

I refitted one of mine by drilling the bracket and the inside skin of the pillar and using 4 self tapping screws !!
Bit fiddly, but possible and simpler than welding. Getting a welder in is harder than getting a drill in !

Thank you andyfreelandy, I think that sounds more like something to do.
