The rear diff pinion nut has come loose on my landy and i can't find the torque in the crappy Haynes service manual i have. Does anyone know the torque for the nut. On the subject where can i get a decent service manual for a 1999 110 300TDi.
Thanks in advance

you have to tighten nut to crush spacer between brgs to give specific rolling resistance on pinion the nut has locking ring incorperated to stop it coming loose 32mm,since your brgs will already be well run in tighten nut till you can feel spacer and freeplay has gone and tighten a little more in incraments to give nlight resistance while rocking diff flange, but becareful not to go to far

THanks guys, i tightened it until very tight (read lots of grunting and straining and maybe a few swear words) as i couldnt find a specific torque either. all seems fine for now.
