Rear diff oil seal

Hi all, have caught a whiff of gear oil every now & then from the rear of my disco, tonight i decided to have a quick look under the rear end. Found out where the smell is coming from, it looks like the seal on the diff has leaked & is throwing gear oil all over the rear of the chassis. Can anyone tell me how big a job it is to replace the seal, any info would be appreciated. Snoops

Easy least. Worst bit is locking the diff flange to undo the nut ( and to torque it back up).

is it a case of brute force & ignorance or is it a breakable part snoops

Nar - taint breakable if yu lock the diff ( I used a length of bar with 2 holes to bolt onto flange) use a big FOff breaker bar to undo nut, remove a spacer, I think. Prise out oil seal and tap in noo seal. I think Buster mite have done a proppa writeup
