I had a new crossmember.what he did was cut from crossmember one leg then from mid crossmember.he then tacked 1 new leg in place so it lined up with old chassis rail.tacked a couple of braces from new to old once happy it lined up removed brace from old rail remaining.cut off last rail with crossmember, tacked new leg to braces fitted to new leg, then tacked in crossmember, tacked on body mounts.once he was happy it all lined up he cut it off where tacked to front crossmember.once back on the ground he full welded to crossmember and body mounts.fitted back up tacked back to front crossmember and welded.on the inner he welded a piece of angle iron and fishtailed joins on the outer sides.
