rear brakes

i have had freelander had problem with rear brakes sticking when hand brake was fully on can anybody tell what the problem cheers

strip brakes and clean out dust

Aren't the brakes supposed to do that?? Take the hand brake off and try again. :doh:

not when i want to drive off

Check that the brake linings have not come adrift, as apparently they have a habit of doing! Clean the whole of the insides of the drums and housings, and hope that your diff has not been over-stressed.
