I'm about to replace the rear brake discs as the existing ones are a bit tatty. Before I get set about it can anyone answer if it is a complex job? In other words, is it just a "caliper off and a couple of (tight) grub screws and off she comes" or does it involve bearings and stripping the hub down? I have done this job several times in the past on other cars but am always looking for a new challenge....and don't these alloys wheels just love getting stuck on! :)

hiya mate , the job is straight forward enough , as for the retaining screws if you have to drill them out its not a problem , you can leave them out as once the wheel is back on the disc is secured by the clamping action of the wheel .
as for your alloys getting stuck on the centre spigot try a smear of copper grease around the inside centre of your wheel rim , they wont sieze again.
rick.
