Can anyone tell me how the hell you get the outer rear body mounting bolts out of a Disco 2? I'm talking about the one directly infront of the rear wheels. I tried to fit a set of side steps to a friends Disco today and it was a nightmare. Firstly it was supposed to be a 2 hour job, then Land Rovers chocolate nut and bolt syndrome struck. So now 7 ( yes that right 7 ) hours later I have broken and fixed the front drivers side bolt and broken the drivers side rear. It has sheared off at the bottom of the mounting and I can't get it up out past the wheel arch. So I'm hoping to get a heads up before round 2 tomorrow.
