Hi guys

As i am about to swap my disco 300tdi rear axle over onto my def 2.5td ( 200tdi ) i was wondering if its worth fitting axle mud shield's as i intend doing some mild off roading but you tend to see lots of off road def's without them fitted.

what do you think :)

do a better job of keeping the mud in than out.

every vehicle ive had with them on - has required them removing due to rot. some would replace them but i view them like exhaust heat shields - if they were really required they should have been fitted better :D

I'm putting mine back on, mostly because they are surprisingly in nice condition and must have been there for a reason
